Mandate
Art in the Park’s mandate is to provide an affordable opportunity for all artists and craftspeople (including the young and the unestablished) to exhibit. We are a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to helping foster artistic growth and development within our community. We are non-commercial, that means that we do not include any mass produced goods, nor do we have any representation from large chains or corporations. All of our products, food, and music are the product of those who are represented at our festival.
While our success is dependant upon many volunteers, our board is made up of 4 primary members:
- Chandler Swain, President of Art in the Park, potter and painter
- Bhat Boy, Past President, founder, and painter
- Carl Brunet, Treasurer/Administrator, and translator
- Meaghan Haughian, Registration Coordinator and mixed-media artist

Thanks
While Art in the Park is an autonomous corporation and the event is run primarily on the funds raised through applicant fees, we would like to thank the following for the financial assistance that made us happen in the past years:
- McKeen’s LOEB, Glebe
- City Councillor Clive Doucet’s office
- The Glebe Community Association
- The Glebe Neighbourhood Activities Group
